Overview
This grant to Brookings will support the expansion of the Lawfare blog and the development of dedicated subsidiary Web pages focused on cybersecurity and privacy issues. These pages would build on Lawfare’s interdisciplinary and cross-ideological expertise on matters related to cybersecurity, digital privacy, and surveillance and create a venue for cyber policy discussion that brings together a wide range of scholars, advocates, government officials, industry representatives, and other analysts.

for support of research on Congress  
This grant enables the Brookings Governance Studies program to continue its research and analysis related to Congress and its constitutional duties, institutional performance, capacity, and problem solving. Through scholarship, convenings, and dissemination of research and recommendations, Brookings will inform those working to support a more effective Congress. Under the leadership of Senior Fellow Molly Reynolds, Brookings will explore congressional rules and procedures; budget and appropriations process reform; congressional oversight; and congressional capacity, productivity, demographics, and related issues. It will continue producing "Vital Statistics on Congress, a 40-year-old source of essential data.
