For The Development Of The Global Learning Metrics Task Force To Inform Global Policy Discourse

Overview
This grant to the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution would support the development and coordination of a new Learning Metrics Task Force. Over eighteen months, the Task Force, comprised of leading experts in global education, would research potential strengths and limitations of global learning goals and conduct consultations to build consensus for learning goals. Ultimately the Task Force would make recommendations about why learning goals should be included in the new post-2015 development framework, what those goals should be, and how those goals could be measured.
