BoardSource is a membership organization that provides resources, training, and sector-wide infrastructure support focused on domestic governance practices to nonprofits and funders. BoardSource provides consistent guidance on what constitutes good governance and offers educational opportunities in new approaches to governance. In addition, the organization has an affiliated pool of associates and trainers who conduct consulting engagements around the country. With this capacity-building grant, BoardSource will invest in the technology architecture to make its flagship board self-assessments less time/resource-intensive to administer, thus significantly increasing the number of them that BaordSource can offer nonprofits per year.
