Overview
The purpose of this grant is to enable the Bipartisan Policy Center to conduct a systematic review of its strategy, operations, cost structure, staffing, and funding supported by a blue chip consultant. Hewlett has been the largest funder of BPC over the organization's life, at The purpose of this grant is to enable the Bipartisan Policy Center to conduct a systematic review of its strategy, operations, cost structure, staffing, and funding model. The Hewlett Foundation has been the largest funder of the Center since it was founded 12 year ago. Recent years have seen substantial changes in the policy-making and philanthropic environments in which the Center operates. This organizational effectiveness grant will enable the Center to assess these developments and refine its business plan accordingly.

Its Energy Program supports the adoption of policy that stabilizes our climate, while also growing the economy, national security, and global competitiveness. The program’s five areas of work include technological innovation, carbon management, infrastructure investment, national policy development, and natural climate solutions. In 2023 the center is expanding its focus from the federal policymaking arena to include the implementation of climate investment legislation and strengthening bipartisan support for these investments.
