Overview
The Consultative Group on Biological Diversity seeks to conserve and restore biological diversity by helping foundations work together. Its goals are to (a) create strategic partnerships among funders to address threats to biological diversity, (b) increase the strategic impact of grantmaking by connecting member foundations, (c) identify emerging issues around biological diversity conservation, and (d) promote the effective use of monitoring and evaluation activities. This grant will support the Hewlett Foundation’s membership in the Group for two years and provide additional support for the Climate and Energy Funders Group to continue its work to convene funders investing in climate change mitigation.
