Grants to this Grantee
for the SocialCoding4Good project
In 2011, Beneficent Technology developed SocialCoding4Good, a project to amplify awareness about humanitarian free and open source software (HFOSS); connect passionate, highly skilled corporate and individual technical volunteers to HFOSS opportunities; and support sustainable HFOSS projects. The SocialCoding4Good team focuses on building relationships with corporations and then identifying and matching volunteers on a highly curated, personal basis. This grant would mark the third and final year of Hewlett Foundation support for this project.
