Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) represents sporting men and women who value human powered sporting opportunities. This general operating support grant would, among other organizational priorities, support BHA’s work to protect high quality hunting and fishing habitat, oppose the sale or transfer of public land, and limit the misuse of off-road vehicles on public land.

Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) is the voice for wild public lands, waters, and wildlife. The organization seeks to ensure North America’s outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting through education and work on behalf of fish, wildlife, and wild places. By promoting science-based management policies and habitat protection, BHA is working to marshal and unify voices across North America to ensure that robust populations of fish and wildlife have access to clean water and intact landscapes.
