for general operating support
Aspiration is a values-driven nonprofit organization with a mission to connect nonprofit organizations, free and open-source projects, philanthropic funders, and activists with strategic frameworks, technology solutions, digital practices, and data skills that help them more fully realize their missions. Aspiration wants those working for social, racial, and climate justice to be able to find and use the best digital tools, resources, and practices available so that they can maximize their effectiveness and impact and, in turn, change the world. Aspiration is working to (a) support the launch of its new Digital Policy Leadership Initiative, (b) offset staff and material costs for its annual Nonprofit Software Development Summit, taking place in Oakland from November 16-18, and (c) publish more of its analysis and methodologies under open licenses. This grant provides general operating support to Aspiration.
