Asian Americans Advancing Justice - AAJC

Asian Americans Advancing Justice is a leading civil rights organization whose mission is to advance civil and human rights for Asian Americans through policy advocacy, litigation, and community education.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice, based in Washington, D.C., was founded in 1991 and supports the civil rights of the Asian American community through education, litigation, and public policy advocacy. This grant is one of several made to support organizations serving Asian and Pacific Islander communities, in the Bay Area and beyond, in response to the rise of violence against these communities in 2020 and 2021.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice has served as the leading Asian American voice on civil rights in Washington for over 25 years. Its mission is to advance civil and human rights for Asian Americans and to build and promote a fair and equitable society for all through policy advocacy, litigation, and community education.
