Overview
Arts Council Santa Cruz County strengthens arts organizations and supports individual artists through regional technical and professional development programs, marketing efforts, and grants programs. Its arts education program provides teaching artists and programs for nearly 10,000 students in the county’s schools, and its Open Studios Art Tour is a much-beloved local tradition. This project grant will support the Tannery Community Plan, a community-wide planning effort that will articulate a vision for the Tannery Arts Center, develop a realistic plan to work toward that vision, and clarify the Arts Council’s role for the center’s 8.3-acre campus.
