Arts Council Santa Cruz County strengthens arts organizations and supports individual artists through regional technical and professional development programs, marketing efforts, and grants programs. Its arts education program provides teaching artists and programs for nearly 10,000 students in the county’s schools, and its Open Studios Art Tour is a much-beloved local tradition. Renewed funding will support the organization’s plans to expand its grants program and arts education advocacy efforts, as well as to continue to promote the visibility of and access to the arts in Santa Cruz County.
