Overview
American Friends Service Committee works to promote and sustain peace with justice, while working alongside people of diverse backgrounds to cultivate change and respect for all human beings. American Friends Service Committee combats hate through their local cultural programs and projects such as Pan Valley Institute, which brings people together from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds to create a safe and healing space and build community. During the grant term, American Friends Service Committee will continue to support Pan Valley Institute’s expansion to reach community members impacted by racism, hate, discrimination, and work towards re-balancing power relationships.
