for strategic planning process
A grant to the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) will support its strategic planning process. As ACS approaches its 20-year anniversary, this evaluation will allow them to hire a consultant to oversee the process as they assess their priorities; work toward their short- and long-term goals; define ACS’s role among peer groups; develop changes to its mission, structure, and strategies; and coordinate with their board and staff to implement the plan’s recommendations.
for general operating support
The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy is a progressive legal organization. Its mission is to promote the vitality of the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental values it expresses: individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy, and the rule of law. During the grant term, the society plans to address current infrastructural needs by updating its internal technology tools and website for broader access and reach.
