American Conservatory Theater (ACT) is a Tony Award-winning theater, accredited acting conservatory, and provider of education and community programs that reach more than 175,000 people each year. Its seven-show season is presented at the iconic 1,040-seat Geary Theater, and its more flexible 283-seat Strand Theater. ACT also offers more than 75 readings, workshops, and performances at locations throughout San Francisco, which provide performance opportunities for its M.F.A. program and Young Conservatory students.
