America Achieves is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing excellence and equity in U.S. education and preparing young people for success in college, careers, and citizenship. America Achieves would work to imbue deeper learning practices across its individual programs, including a global network of schools and districts using the OECD Test for Schools (based on PISA) for benchmarking and improvement purposes; a teacher and principal fellows program aimed at creating educator leaders; and an initiative to promote parental engagement in education, among others. This work fosters bottom-up activities that support and spread deeper learning practices in schools.

Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
America Achieves is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing excellence and equity in U.S. schools. America Achieves will continue to imbue deeper learning across its individual programs, which include a global network of schools and districts using the OECD Test for Schools (based on PISA) for benchmarking and improvement purposes, as well as a teacher and principal fellows program aimed at creating educator leaders. The organization’s work supports an increase in bottom-up demand for deeper learning practices both by exposing teacher leaders to deeper learning champions and by supporting the spread of improved instructional practices using a common benchmark.
for Results for America's global survey of evidence-informed policymaking practices
Results for America (RFA), which operates under America Achieves, Inc., seeks to improve the impact of public resources in government through evidence-informed policymaking. Under this grant, RFA will begin to expand its work beyond the United States by conducting a comprehensive survey of policies, programs, and systems for evidence-informed policymaking around the world, especially in the developing world. RFA will also convene leaders to inform the research, share experiences, and potentially begin building a global coalition for evidence-informed policymaking.
