Alliance for Youth Organizing

The Alliance for Youth Organizing expands the work of youth-led organizing and mobilization. The alliance is the only affiliate-based network organization in the country focused on supporting and incubating strong, sustainable, and financially healthy organizations of young people. It recruits young people with strong reproductive justice backgrounds to enable member organizations to integrate reproductive justice into their work and institutions.

This OE grant will help strengthen Alliance for Youth Organizing's organizational capacity, senior leadership development, and organization's growth and scalability during a critical moment as the organization grows in staff size and reach: 1) support 12 months of executive coaching for 3 senior staff (excluding the Executive Director who is already receiving coaching support), 2) allow four members of their leadership team to participate in the Rockwood Leadership Institute's Art of Leadership week-long training, and 3) create the opportunity for senior staff receiving coaching to identify and assess core strengths and how to best leverage them in their management roles all while centering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
