Overview
A national association of more than 110 member organizations, Alliance for Justice is the leading expert on the legal framework for nonprofit advocacy efforts—providing information, resources, and technical assistance that enables organizations and their funding partners to participate lawfully in the democratic process. In May 2012, the Alliance launched Bolder Advocacy, a new initiative to promote the engagement of nonprofits and foundations in public policy via workshops, technical assistance, publications, and public education. This grant, the Hewlett Foundation’s third to the Bolder Advocacy project, would help to support this growing line of work.
