African Population and Health Research Center, Inc.

For Support Of An Abortion Research And Policy Conference

In 2006, the African Population and Health Research Center, Ipas, and the Guttmacher Institute hosted a milestone conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and launched a decade of research and evidence-based policy development on unsafe abortion and its impact on African women’s health and rights. This grant will support the center’s staff and participants for another consultation in Addis Ababa, 10 years later, to recognize past progress in abortion research and develop a research agenda for the next decade that addresses long-standing and emerging research gaps.
