for support of Nexus Youth's feasibility study of a Transpartisan Philanthropy Platform
Today there are few support mechanisms for philanthropists to learn, connect, or support projects across cultural and political boundaries. Instead, most donor affinity groups associate around specific issues or particular partisan approaches. Founded in 2011, Nexus is a global movement to bridge communities of wealth and social change. With more than 3,000 members from over 70 countries, Nexus unites young investors, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and allies annually at the United Nations and elsewhere around the world. This grant will support a feasibility study to explore uniting and educating philanthropists to support political bridge-building projects and nonprofits. If successful, the study will culminate in the launch of a Transpartisan Philanthropy Platform to match select nonprofits with funders.
