Overview
World Resources Institute is a global think tank focused on protecting nature and stabilizing climate. This grant will fund the continuation of the series of Track II climate dialogues between senior nongovernmental advisors and former senior leaders from the U.S and the European Union. These talks provide the opportunity to raise and address issues in less formal forums and build understanding of potential climate policy options. The project will work with actors from across the political spectrum, with the aim of building ambition on both sides of the Atlantic. This grant will support convening and analysis.

for promoting zero-emission drayage trucks
World Resources Institute (WRI) is actively engaged, in various geographies, in producing relevant e-mobility research and providing deep technical assistance to support stakeholders in delivering results. The goal of this project is to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission drayage trucks in China. WRI will support local city and provincial governments to pursue successful pilot programs for the vehicles and establish sustainable policy enablers for continued adoption.

for U.S.-China High-Level Dialogue on Energy and Climate Change
This grant to the World Resources Institute will fund the continuation of the Track II climate dialogue between senior nongovernmental advisors and former government officials from the U.S. and China. These talks provide the opportunity to raise and address climate-related issues and build trust that can bolster formal progress on climate policy between the U.S. and China, the world’s largest GHG emitters. The project will work with actors from across the political spectrum.
