Institute of Public Finance Limited

The Institute of Public Finance (IPF) is a nonprofit think tank based in Nairobi, Kenya, that advocates for more equitable, efficient, and effective public finance management by generating research evidence and providing technical assistance to state and nonstate actors. This grant will enable IPF to support the county governments of Laikipia, Kitui, and Nairobi in Kenya to enhance their revenue mobilization in support of improved public service delivery. The Institute of Public Finance Kenya is an independent, nonpartisan think tank based in Nairobi that advocates for open public financial management through research, training, and capacity strengthening. Over the next two years, the institute will work toward increased county government responsiveness to the needs of local residents through research, public interest journalism, civic engagement, and financial oversight.
