Overview
This grant will support The School Superintendents Association (AASA, formerly the American Association of School Administrators) in convening a national cohort of K-12 district leaders around the concepts of executive functioning. The Executive Function Cohort will act as a civic science-based network to learn about and develop models of implementation for executive function-based learning and life skills (such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, perspective taking, goal setting, focus, self-control, and taking on challenges), as well as the K-12 environments and mindsets that support them. (Substrategy: District Deep Dives and Networks)
