The Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund (Equity Fund) is working toward an equitable clean energy future. Its key strategies include investing in the leadership and organizing of diverse communities; supporting nonpartisan civic engagement; building capacity and providing technical assistance through policy and communications accelerator programs; and advancing equitable climate and clean energy solutions that reflect communities’ priorities and advance economic and environmental justice. With the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Equity Fund is also providing catalytic implementation funding in specific geographies and rapid-response funding to help more communities access federal climate dollars.
