Overview
The Opportunity Finance Network represents more than 390 mission-oriented U.S. Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) from coast to coast. It manages loan and grant funds to CDFIs so they can, in turn, lend to under-resourced urban, rural, and tribal communities. The network is coordinating, building coalitions, training, and advocating for CDFIs to have significant access to the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, a $27 billion program for clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. This grant will expand its ability to enable community lenders to finance green projects, raise private capital, and support the deployment of federal incentives in under-resourced communities.
