Overview
Dance Elixir is a producer and presenter of multidisciplinary arts projects. Based in Oakland, its suite of programs includes operation of the Temescal Art Center, and collaborative platforms such as TACmusic, AMP Live, and AMP Folktales, which commission, produce, and promote experimental musicians, dancers, and multidisciplinary performance artists. Dance Elixir reaches approximately 8,000 audience members each year and has established a national reputation for its presentations of performance works from an Arab American perspective. Support for Dance Elixir’s Arab.AMP program advances the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.
