Overview
In recognition of the Hewlett Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions initiative supports the creation and premiere of 50 exceptional works of performing arts. This grant will support the International Society for the Arts, Science and Technology in developing and presenting lead artist Cristóbal Martínez’s “Cosmovisión.” The project will culminate in an experimental music concert performance generated through a multiplayer gaming tournament of ensemble performances and use Native American frameworks to explore the participants’ relationships to land, community, and worldview.
