The Western Organization of Resource Councils’ Education Project is a regional network of grassroots community organizations that includes 15,000 members and 35 local chapters. The network works to advance new federal and state policies such as the reform of oil and gas reclamation and bonding practices in multiple Western states, balancing economic growth with the health of people and stewardship of their land, water, and air resources.
