Overview
The Policy Academies is an organization designed to train and cultivate a new and diverse generation of researchers focused on promoting racial equity and economic justice through public policy and working with leading policy institutions to ensure that racial equity and economic justice are ingrained in research practice. The grant will support the launching of the Educators and Education Policy Fellows program. In addition to summer-long intensives at leading research institutions in Washington, D.C., the program includes a weeklong module on education policy, a visit to a leading education policy organization to speak education policy experts, and the support of original research projects by education policy-focused Academy Fellows.
