Framed by the San Juan and Colorado Rivers, the public lands of the region also contain a rich archeological history of Native American life, important to virtually every tribe in the Four Corners region. This grant to the Conservation Lands Foundation would support its efforts to protect this diverse, culturally important area, and its work with Native peoples in the region.
