Overview
The League of Conservation Voters Education Fund works to turn environmental values into national, state, and local priorities. This renewal grant would support the Fund’s efforts to encourage the creation of three new national monuments by the middle of 2015, and to promote the adoption of other policy tools to advance conservation on public land. To accomplish this goal, the Fund will educate decision makers in federal agencies and the White House, work closely with other conservation organizations, and communicate to the public through traditional and social media.

The League of Conservation Voters Education Fund works to turn environmental values into national, state, and local priorities. In collaboration with its state partners, the fund advocates for strong environmental protections, organizes communities to speak up about their environmental values and engages people in the democratic process in order to enact strong environmental laws. The fund also works to support robust implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act; ambitious environmental regulations; and the full realization of the Justice40 Initiative, which aims to deliver 40% of benefits from federal climate investments to under-invested communities.
