Overview
This grant to the Nature Conservancy would support its effort to increase public funding for private land conservation in the West. Increased development pressures put ecologically sensitive ranches and other private land at risk. The Nature Conservancy would use the grant funds to educate the public on the benefits of increased funding from all levels of government. This is a complimentary grant to a separate grant to Trust for Public Land.
