Overview
A nonpartisan research organization, the Public Policy Institute of California gathers and disseminates information to guide public policy decisions by politicians, communities, and other stakeholders. It conducts surveys on topics that include the environment, education, and economic development. This grant would enable the Institute to conduct their annual survey on climate change, air pollution, and land use in 2013. Its poll has been an invaluable resource for the environmental advocacy that the Hewlett Foundation supports.
