Overview
The Wyoming Range is a 1.2 million-acre, permanently protected range in Wyoming. Several federally issued oil and gas leases pre-dated the decision to protect the range, potentially impairing its conservation value. The Trust has negotiated with the lease-holder to purchase the leases and donate them back to the government. This grant would support the Trust’s efforts.
