Grants to this Grantee
for the Columbia Basin Restoration Initiative
The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission is a 44-year-old nonprofit organization that supports member Tribes by implementing a Tribal salmon restoration plan, Wy-Kan-Ush-Mi Wa-Kish-Wit (Spirit of the Salmon). The commission provides technical capacity, policy, and legal expertise to member Tribes; outreach and education to the general public; and direct services to Tribal fishing communities who live seasonally and year-round on the mainstem Columbia River. This grant will support implementation of the Columbia Basin Restoration Initiative. (Substrategy: State and Tribal Wildlife Protection)
