Theatre Bay Area

Theatre Bay Area is the region’s largest service organization for nonprofit theaters and theater artists. It builds awareness, appreciation, and support for theater through programs that include audience development, collaborative marketing and research, professional development opportunities, grants and awards, arts advocacy, and an annual conference. Theatre Bay Area engages more than 2,000 theater artists and over 180 organizations through its suite of membership programs. Support for Theatre Bay Area advances the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.

Theatre Bay Area engages more than 3,000 individuals and 100 organizations through its suite of membership programs. Support for Theatre Bay Area aligns with the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.

Theatre Bay Area is a membership organization that builds awareness, appreciation, and support for theater in the Bay Area. Its programs include marketing, research, professional development opportunities, auditions, and grant programs that serve theaters and artists. Its annual conference draws more than 300 participants. The CA$H Theatre grant program provides grants to artists and small theater companies that support artistic projects, capacity-building activities, and public performances. Support for Theatre Bay Area’s CA$H Theatre grant program aligns with the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.
