Overview
San Jose Children’s Musical Theater is one of the nation’s largest theatrical performing and training organizations for youth. The organization mounts ten core productions annually with performers aged four to 20, reaching more than 40,000 audience members. Every child who auditions is cast, resulting in 1,000 young performers taking the stage. The organization also reaches more than 7,000 children each year with its Student Matinee Program, workshops and master classes, and intensive summer sessions. Support of CMTSJ aligns with the Program’s Youth strategy, through the Program Delivery sub-strategy.
