Overview
This grant will support Climate Interactive, a fiscally sponsored project of the New Venture Funds, to develop a strategic plan. Climate Interactive develops interactive models that engage opinion leaders and the general public in developing realistic solutions for global climate change. Climate Interactive aggregates climate models in a tool that is used by decision makers, journalists, NGOs, and educational institutions to convey the depth of the climate problem and the multiple avenues for solutions. Delegates at the Paris COP used the tool to assess progress towards a 2 degree solution in real time. The "New York Times" and "Washington Post" have used it to engage readers in climate solutions on their web pages.
