Overview
The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), housed in the New Venture Fund, is an international alliance of academic and research libraries working to create a more open system for scholarly communication. With this grant, SPARC’s Open Education program will expand innovative use of OER and mainstream its adoption by engaging academic libraries and conducting policy advocacy. Activities funded by the grant will increase leadership capacity for OER in government and higher education and enhance SPARC’s capacity in the area of OER advocacy.
