Overview
The Partnership for Public Service works to revitalize our federal government by transforming the way government works and inspiring a new generation to serve. This grant provides general for the Partnership, including efforts to address government’s workforce issues, and management and leadership challenges that undermine government’s ability to perform. The Partnership’s programs inspire a new generation to serve in government; equip leaders to improve government from the inside; increase the engagement and commitment of public servants; modernize government management systems; and build external networks of businesses, policy-makers, and foundations to advocate for and invest in effective government.

The Partnership plans to equip career and political leaders to improve government functioning and effectiveness; encourage leaders to improve the health and performance of legislative and congressional branch entities; promote greater use of data to drive better decision making; build critical connections and foster collaboration within government and across sectors; and mobilize outside actors, such as business, academia, and the social sector, to encourage investments in government’s health, integrity, capacity, and performance.
