Overview
The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition, housed in the New Venture Fund, is an international alliance of academic and research libraries working to improve society by creating a more open system for scholarly communication. The group’s Open Education program seeks to expand innovative use of OER and mainstream its adoption by engaging academic libraries on campus and conducting collaborative policy advocacy in Washington, D.C. The group’s activities will increase leadership capacity for OER in government and higher education and will enhance the capacity of an anchor institution in the area of OER advocacy.
