Overview
This grant would support the Media Democracy Fund, a project of the New Venture Fund, and its work to promote an open internet and access to 21st century communications. This includes efforts to protect net neutrality, the principle that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet equally, not discriminating or charging differentially by user or content. The Fund both provides grants to organizations engaged in open internet and communications access work and coordinates coalitions of those organizations.
