The National Council of Nonprofits, founded in 1990, is now the largest network of nonprofits in North America, with more than 30,000 organizational members. It connects, champions, and informs nonprofits to achieve transformative results for the public good. Working with and through its core network of member state associations of nonprofits and regional nonprofit allies, plus its network of state policy allies and other collaborative partners, the council uses its unique position to convene and mobilize organizations across the country. This grant is for general operating support as part of the Knowledge for Better Philanthropy strategy.
