Overview
New Venture Fund is the fiscal sponsor of the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy program (CAELP), a small team of lawyers assembled to help coordinate and amplify existing legal capacity around immediate defensive caseload as well as longer-term, proactive legal and communications efforts. CAELP’s initial focus will be on the power and transportation sectors, including both defense of federal policy frameworks as well as the rights of states to go beyond federal mandates.
