Amanda Lanceplaine

CRE Operations Manager, Culture, Race, and Equity

Amanda Lanceplaine is the CRE Operations Manager on the Culture, Race, and Equity team. She works closely with the Chief of Equity and Culture to lead and support the team’s racial justice grantmaking, internal learning, strategy, budget, and learning and evaluation.

Previously, Amanda supported grantmaking on the Hewlett Foundation’s Education Program, in both K-12 Teaching and Learning and Open Education. Prior to joining Hewlett, Amanda worked at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, where she managed grants focused on the system of care for children with special health care needs and directed the California Community Care Coordination Collaborative. Prior to that, she worked for the Legal Aid Association of California, the Asia-Europe People’s Forum, and the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines, conducting field research on human rights violations.

Amanda holds a master’s degree in international human rights, and bachelor’s degrees in political science and German.
